Lisa K. Anderson, MSE, LPC, CSW


Lisa Anderson is a compassionate therapist with a solution-focused approach.  She enjoys working with clients of all ages to help them achieve their goals to be the best person they can be. She uses a strength based approach and infuses therapy with humor to create a relaxing and supportive environment for clients to explore issues and make positive change.

Lisa has worked in the Mental Health field for over 20 years providing individual, family and couples therapy working with children, adolescents and adults. She specializes in treating children and adults who have experienced trauma. Lisa is a certified Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and works with individuals suffering from PTSD.

Lisa attended UW-Whitewater for both her undergraduate and graduate schooling. She has a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Social Work with a minor in Women’s Studies.  Lisa also has a Master’s of Science in Community Counseling.  She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Social Worker.

Additionally, Lisa facilitates workshops and trainings regarding Trauma Informed Care for agency/organizations, Trauma Informed Parenting and Trauma Therapy Counseling. Lisa also provides training regarding crisis planning, Youth Mental Health First Aid and restructuring organizations for optimal performance. She has provided trainings to Outagamie County Health and Human Services, Rock County Health and Human Services, Harbor House Domestic Abuse Shelter, Family Services of Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois, Brighter Futures Conference and is an Adjunct employee of UW-Green Bay to train Health and Human Services workers about Trauma Informed Care.
